Bethany & Adam’s wedding at the Alnwick Gardens in Northumberland was amazing. Having never photographed a wedding at this venue before, I’d been buzzing with anticipation for a while and having such a great couple to work with made it even better. Bridal preparations took place in a holiday cottage in nearby Newton-by-the-sea and the guys got ready at the Joiners Arms next door. Everyone was chilled and looking awesome but the weather was looking threatening as we headed towards the venue. Bethany was walked down the aisle by her brother Nathan. During the service it absolutely poured down but once they’d said their vows, the clouds parted and the sun shone all day. It may sound cheesy but it really did happen! Bethany and Adam were an ideal couple, they were up for everything from a photography point of view and with Alnwick Garden’s backdrop, this was the kind of wedding photographers dream about.
