SITTER SESSIONS – 6-12 MONTHS
A sitter session is a milestone session in a baby’s first year. The photoshoot takes place when your baby can sit and crawl, but doesn’t yet walk, usually around 6 to 9 months old.
Most parents plan on getting newborns photos, but sometimes they miss out on them for many reasons. The next best stage to photograph your baby is when they can sit up. From a photographer’s point of view this is a perfect age to get you a great range of images. Babies at this age tend to be happy to sit for photos, separation anxiety normally hasn’t kicked in and they are not very mobile yet… Six month old babies are generally quick to smile and giggle and their personalities are in full bloom, giving you a range of images bursting with different expressions.
The session itself is very relaxed and fun; we use a mix of backdrops and props such as bunting and teddies. We like natural, neutral colours so we ask that you bring denim, dungarees and white or pastel colours. Patterns and bright colours date quickly and our aim is to capture timeless images. Babies look great in hats so you can bring one too if you like. For baby girls we have a collection of beautiful pettiskirts, lace rompers and floral crowns.
The session costs £50 and once you have viewed your images, you can choose from one of the following packages:
HEATHER: 10 favourite prints 6×4″ £75
BLUEBELL canvas 36×24″ £100
LAVENDER all edited images from the session on a USB in high resolution £150
